Grants
The Clayton and Virginia Williams Foundation (CVWFDN) offers grants to support projects focused on advocacy in the areas of Justice, Education, and Civic Involvement. Grants are made to encourage collaboration and innovation that will help communities ensure equitable civic policies and practices.
Grant Application and Reporting Guidelines

Grants amounts can range from $1,000 to $2,000 for innovative projects designed to build and strengthen community institutions and systems in the three advocacy areas.

Initial length of project can be from nine (9) to twelve (12) months. Requests for an extension beyond the original term may be considered.

The project plan identifies the specific advocacy area it will address, the project goal, anticipated costs and timetable.

Project teams are to consist of at least four individuals for whom contact information must be provided.

The designation of a non-profit organization to which grant funds are to be disbursed for project team use is required.

Up to fifty percent (50%) of the grant amount can be requested upon the CVWFDN’s approval of the project start-up. The remainder of the grant may be issued at midpoint of project.

Applicants shall submit a completed and signed grant application form to the applicable Advocacy group chair.

The project team will submit progress reports to an Advocacy group chair on a form provided by the Advocacy group.
